Bridge of Hope

This precious ministry was founded at Bridge of Hope by Ashley Morehead in August 2010 to provide an avenue for children to remain active and use their gifts for the Lord. The inspiration for this group manifested after Ashley attended the annual Church of God of Prophecy Summer Youth Camp at Camp Maranatha. While seeking God she felt the call to serve the church in the area of children's dance.

Your Generation is available for both boys and girls ages 5-12. This ministry currently consists of 10 young ladies and practices are held every other Sunday evening at either 4:00pm or 5:00pm. Each rehearsal begins with prayer and scripture. The children also learn and recite the foundational bible verses for the messages behind the songs they dance to. If one of the members of Your Genereation are asked about the purpose behind their moves they will likely explain that they do it “for ministry.” The girls are taught that the reason Your Generation exists is to spread messages about God and bring people closer to Him. The group ministers on stage during Sunday morning worship services at Bridge of Hope every other month.
